Join us for a boost of well-being during Mental Health Week.
Energize your body and boost your mental health through the precise movements and breathing techniques of Pilates.
By targeting core muscle strength, Pilates enhances flexibility and promotes proper posture. It’s a great option for yoga enthusiasts seeking a more intense core workout.
This session is open to all ages and abilities.
Certified instructor Alexandra P. Julien will guide you in adapting the exercises to your ability. Alexandra became a Pilates Matwork teacher in 2015 at the Body Control Pilates school in London, England. She now teaches Pilates classes at LOVJOY in Québec City.
– Please bring a bottle of water with you.
– We will provide you with a mat.
Hopefully the weather will be nice and we will do Pilates outside on the grass behind the Jeffery Hale Hospital Building. If the weather is not on our side, we will be indoors in the Multipurpose Room at the Jeffery Hale Pavilion.
