Health Passport App

The Health Passport App is designed to help you and your family keep track of essential health information on your smart phone or tablet. It also puts helpful words and phrases in French at your fingertips when you go to clinic or an emergency.  Download the Quebec City version of the app at veq.ca.

Find a resource in health and social services. Programs and support measures related to health and social services. The information on the Portail santé mieux-être is available in English.

8-1-1 Info-santé

You can speak to a nurse at 8-1-1 Info-santé (health info) 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

2-1-1 Service

Call 2-1-1 or visit the 2-1-1 website for information and referrals to a full range of community, social and government services in the Capitale-Nationale and Chaudière-Appalaches regions.

Community Wellness Centre

The community Wellness Centre at Jeffery Hale promotes the personal and shared well-being of English speakers in the Quebec City region by offering a range of health promotion programs.

Canadian Cancer Society

The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

Air Quality Health Index (AQHI)

If you have breathing problems or heart disease, the Air Quality Health Index tool will help you stay aware of the health risk based on air pollution levels in the Quebec City urban area. Visit their website or call their toll-free number (1 866 688-3810) to learn the current AQHI. The Fraser Recovery Program

A non-profit organization, the Fraser Recovery Program helps young people (primarily Quebecers) who need help to recognize their drug or alcohol abuse, cease their abuse and arrest their disease. Help is offered free of charge to youth or their parents.
