Post-natal Fitness sessions

Moms! Join our Post-natal fitness class! Designed to help you safely regain strength, mobility and core stability. You will work with a professional kinesiologist to improve posture and enhance overall fitness while respecting your body.

The class is suitable for mothers at least 6 weeks postpartum (or with medical clearance). No prior fitness experience required.

  • Level 1 – pelvic floor recovery, from 4 weeks (6 weeks cesarian) to about 5 months (see event by that name also in our calendar).
  • Level 2 – regaining strength from 5 months onwards.

Each session will include:

  • Core rehabilitation and pelvic floor awareness.
  • Low-impact cardio to boost energy and endurance.
  • Strength training to support daily movements and lifting.
  • Stretching and relaxation to ease tension and promote balance.

Babies and partner are welcome — we create a supportive and inclusive environment where you can move at your own pace and connect with other new moms.

Other details

  • Due to space restrictions, we need to limit the number of places for this activity..
  • There is a small cost per participant for all six classes.

  • In order for us to hold these sessions, we require a minimum number of registrants, so please let Jessica know if you are interested (contact info below).

About the instructor

Isabelle Kingsbury has a masters degree in Kinesiology. She is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist and a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  She excels with pre and post/natal fitness and healthy lifestyle education. She has worked in a variety of clinical and performance environments and is also a mother of two.
