Whispers of the Mind – A Poem

In the quiet corners of the mind,
Where shadows stretch and softly wind,
There are battles fought, unseen by day,
A silent war in shades of grey.
The weight of thoughts, like heavy rain.
A storm within, without any sound,
The heart, it races, trying to find
A place of peace, a place without sorrow.
Yet all around, the whispers grow,
Telling lies that no one knows.
In the dark shadows grow
Day by day, claws sinking deep
But in the dark, there’s a flicker bright,
A spark of hope, a steady light.
Though paths are blurred and days unsure,
There’s strength to rise, a will to endure.
So, take a breath, hold onto grace,
You’re not alone in this strange space.
For even in the darkest nights,
The dawn will break, and so will light.
