S.N.A.C.S.
S.N.A.C.S. stands for Special Needs Activities and Community Support.
A program to support children, teens and young adults with special needs. Safe and inclusive assisted activities encourage socialization, and offer respite for parents at the same time.
Day programs
R.I.S.E. program
A safe space where adults with special needs feel Respected, Included, Supported, and Empowered as unique individuals.
Social participation program
An adult education program that provides meaningful hands-on work experiences through collaborations with local businesses (offered in partnership with EQLC).
Clubs
Ausome social club
PASS (Program for academic and social success)
With PASS, students aged 12 to 15 who are struggling socially and academically can develop the tools they need to thrive.
Secret agent society
An evidence based program where children and teens build social and emotional skills through games, roleplay, and “spy missions,” supporting success at home, school, and in the community.
Respite
After-school program
A safe and stimulating environment before and after school hours for Québec High School students with special needs.

If you are a high school student, being a buddy to a child with special needs gives them a chance to socially interact with others while providing respite for their parents.
