An ode to our parents and families

This month, I want to dedicate my blog to you — the wonderful parents and families I have the privilege of working with. Whether I see you every week, once a month, or just once a year, I truly cherish every opportunity to visit, chat and connect during our activities. You brighten my day simply by being you. 😊 Thank you!

The beauty and challenge of parenting

I know firsthand that parenting is incredibly rewarding, and it can also be incredibly challenging. I want to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate all of you who work so hard, day in and day out. I see your effort, your dedication, and the love you pour into your little ones.

And let’s be honest — everything feels a bit harder with children in tow, especially tiny babies. So please, give yourself a well‑deserved pat on the back. You are doing amazing. ❤️

Celebrating my superstar parents

Here are just a few of your everyday accomplishments that deserve to be recognized:

  • Getting out of the house with your little one(s).
  • Making it to an activity — whether on foot, by car, or by bus.
  • Arriving on time for an activity or appointment.
  • Driving on your own with a baby in the back seat.
  • Enduring hours of a crying baby.
  • Waking up again and again overnight and still managing to function.
  • Reorganizing and adapting to the arrival of a second, third, or even fourth baby.
  • Patiently assisting your child(ren) with their homework.
  • Reading with your child(ren).
  • Caring tirelessly for a sick child or baby.
  • Returning to work or starting a new job while adjusting to a new family routine.
  • Leaving your child in childcare with someone new for the first time.
  • Finding the energy to give endless love and cuddles even when you feel completely drained.

Thank you to those of you who allow yourselves to have wobbly moments and trust me enough to be vulnerable. Thank you for showing up as your authentic selves — young children tend to strip away many of life’s barriers anyway. 😊

Please know that I see you, and I am sending you so much love.

Sending my love and gratitude

If you attend our activities, you’ve likely heard me say how much I love my job — and it’s true. I feel incredibly privileged to work in a role where I connect with such caring, genuine families. You are the reason my work is so meaningful. ❤️

I hope this doesn’t sound strange, but I want you to know how proud I am of each and every one of you. Parenting is not easy, especially in today’s world of social media and “Instagram‑perfect” images. Getting out and about with little ones takes real effort, and I see the planning and energy that goes into attending our programs. I deeply appreciate you sharing these precious early‑years moments with me.

Thank you for making that effort. I love seeing you — and I know how important it is for you to get out, connect, and care for yourselves too. Take it from me: you are doing outstanding. 💛
